Some of that is scheme, see: first 5 quarters of Manning. A 3rd year player isn't likely to force a scheme change. Hell Peyton ****ing Manning went all through the offseason and training camp with a ****ing joke of a scheme and (probably) singlehandedly had to tell the coach to

I'm not making excuses for Luck. He really should get his shit together and quit throwing the picks, but the same mentality to keep pressing after picks won him the post season game against us and lost him a regular season game against the Jets. If you want games like playoff game, you have to take games like this IMO. Point is, though, that some of the Manning/Brady making pedestrian lines look better is scheme.
