Dedicated bus and emergency lanes would have helped-also having other drop off points different from the Metro and every other service. The busses were so log jammed- an ambulance could not get through with its lights flashing.
Having different dropoff and pickup points would have helped- people were still being dropped off as 5 thousand people were mobbing the busses to get on.
We were first in line- but when thousands cut in front and started blocking the streets in front of us-we gave up. Total fail. |
Lucky you. I got in line at 9 and didn't board a bus until 12:45.
