They've started 29 different offensive lineman over the past 5 seasons, which is the most in the league.
Rivers is basically working with a Skelton crew, patchwork offensive line of fatties off the street, and below average defenses year after year.. And they still tend to go 7-9 to 9-7. I'd say he's a ****ing miracle worker.

He's done fairly well with a gaggle of spares, but I wouldn't say they've been the least talented team in the last 6 years.
2009 was their last double digit win season, and was their 5th trip to the playoff in 6 seasons. The Chargers were 46-18 in Phillip's first 4 seasons, back when they were taunting Cutler, etc and the big men in the division. Supposedly...
In the 5 1/2 seasons since, they are 44-45 overall... 1 failed trip to the playoffs as a WC in 2013. Rivers puts up nice stats but few wins. Rivers is a 12 year guy with a decent career, but will forever be in the shadow of Eli and Big Ben... and unless something radically changes, he'll never be in the discussion for HOF, nor should he be at this point.
Too bad really, the guy is a gamer...
