There's definitely some patience needed in that situation for the guy going 20mph over... if someone wants to pass me, I make every attempt to get to the right so he can do that, but I'm not going to slow down and merge into the right lane and then get passed by people behind him.
And I never sit in the middle of an intersection waiting to turn left... you're saving what, a second,
maybe two if it's a huge intersection?
