For all the stupid shit r8ers says, he once said as a truck driver he just wants people to GTF away from him, and I couldn't agree more... it grinds my gears when there's a cluster of cars out in the middle of no where because a couple of dumb****s are incapable of passing a truck. OTOH, sometimes it's the person being passed who decides to speed up.
I (when I was driving longer distances ) would find myself in a situation where I was cruising along in the right lane, and would get over to pass a car going slow. As I was passing, someone would be cruising along in the left lane, going faster than myself, with a train behind him/her. Once I passed, if I was done, I was happy to get over, but if there was another car just ahead that I needed to pass, and if getting over for the train to go by was actually going to **** up my speed, I figured, "**** 'em." I know I pissed a lot of people off that way.
