Makes sense. I think almost all Cardinal fans would have been happy with that deal too.

According to most reports both Price and the Cardinals had mutual interest as long as the numbers made sense on the back end of the deal for the Cardinals. Like Pujols, Price decided that $30 million was worth more than playing for the Cardinals.
