I have killed a few bears and several moshy alien creatures from swamps and beaches they are punk ass bitches. I can fight one on one no problem or get them in line but they get behind you or surround you they take you out. I have figured out to use the "force" to stun them for a minute that's huge help.
Fun game but takes some getting use too much like Dying Light getting use to what you need to do to help the character get stronger and crafting useful tools is a learning process.

You should look up the locations for Griffin armor and use that if you like signs. There's Cat, Griffin, and Bear. Each set you can upgrade with different diagrams as you level up.
