James May is back with the second installment of Cars of the People.

Less hijinks and much more informative than Top Gear, he explores historical trends and forgotten anecdotes to explain the course of development of common commuter automobiles. The new episode explores how Britain and the US won WWII, but Japan and Germany won the postwar quality auto race.

It has aired on BBC only thus far, so you need the Hola Extension to watch it from the BBC Iplayer website. But be on the lookout for it on BBCA in the near future.
