I've actually been lurking since this site was on the KC Star.
I came as a fan of the Chiefs. I played a lot of sports, but football was not one of them, so I have learned more about the game from people who post who actually played.
I grew up in KC but have been in Northern California for the last 25 years. I like hearing the occasional news about was is going on in KC.
I follow the Jayhawks basketball threads.
The DC threads are sometimes amusing and sometimes pretty annoying. I realize there are people out there who have a way different view of the world than I do. When the obvious trolling doesn't get me too down, it is interesting to see the arguments that get advanced for their points.
And, of course, Gaz.
