Faxing is used very regularly in an up to date Hospital system. Many offices won't accept correspondences any other way.
I use almost everything on your list besides pay phones(are there pay phones left anywhere). Several of them such as checks and newspapers is on a much less frequent basis but I still have looked at one at least in the last year or so. My main computer is a PC. And I have tablets and laptops and smart phones. I am contemplating building a new PC here shortly with all up to date shit since the one I am using right now was top of the line back in 2010 but not so much anymore. You just can't beat a PC when it comes to computing power when you use one all day long.
