There's no way I'd trade Cuthbert. There is absolutely no guarantee that Moose will re-sign with the Royals, just as there's no guarantee that he'll be completely back to full strength by the opener.

I'd imagine that there will be a certain amount of rust he'll need to shake off, as he'll have gone the better part of the year without playing baseball.
