And I would dispute the characterization of 'a lot of hate, just for casting women.' There's been more eyerolling than hate. The overwhelming majority of it ramped up after the trailer. And it only continues to build because the cast and crew are actively antagonizing nayayers.

Eh, I guess I've just seen way more bitching from fanboys than anything. I'll take your word for it on the marketing ploys. Most of what I've seen is the typical lame cashing in on the original stuff that you'd expect. Like I said, though, I'm sure you're right.
