He's completely against any player getting paid handsomely unless said player will directly benefit Alex's production.
Houston, who is 1,000,000 times the player that Fisher is, was an asshole for wanting market value. He even openly admits that Fisher hasn't earned this contract and yet he's fine with him getting $12m per year in new money but Houston should have taken less because $16m per year is too much.
