He's definitely in the conversation for AL CY, and this year is a pretty down year for AL pitchers in general. If he keeps this pace up for the rest of the year then I think he has a shot. I saw a projection in an article yesterday actually that has him around 185 IP if he continues the pace he has been on recently. In addition to his K/9 and (since people just love to look at this meaningless figure) he has only lost one game this year.
He's in the mix, no doubt.
