I guess they trashed a gas station or something, did he think that if he told everyone he was held up, then people would ignore the gas station owners and call them liars? No, they'll still go to the cops and show them the video.

This could have just been a low level "boys will be boys" thing thats quickly forgotten about like Phelps getting caught smoking a ton of weed, but now everyone will forever think of Lochte as a douche.
