Moeaki had a long history of injury and was overdrafted (just like McCluster, Arenas, Jackson, Baldwin, etc. and so on). He was a 6th or 7th rounder.
Brodie Croyle couldn't read an NFL defense and was quickly out of the NFL. You can't blame it on coaching when the Chiefs were in 1st place with Damon Huard at QB with a 4-3 record but after he was injured, the Chiefs lost every game and finished 4-12.
The following year, Tyler Thigpen beat him out with Chan Gailey at the helm, who's had success as an OC across the league but none with Croyle (Jets, Steelers, etc.).
