They're also a larger city with a stadium location that promotes higher attendance as well as walk up traffic. The Cubs and White Sox perfectly illustrate how much a difference it can make in driving casual attendance.
They have a more moderate summer season that doesn't keep some from going to a game in the dog days of summer.
But most importantly, KC has nothing to defend itself for. They're in the bottom 3 of smallest media markets out of all of baseball, and drawing good numbers as well as absolutely crushing local tv share ratings.
So, again, who gives a shit, and what does Denver's team matter in terms of looking to them as a comparison measurement? KC probably mirrors Milwaukee for a city size, but they have more temperate summer weather, and better stadium location. Hell, 2/3rds of the league needs to answer for why KC is drawing better attendance than them. But you wanna keep up your shtick of being contrarian just for the sake of it, then don't be surprised at the lack of respect anyone around here has for your obsession with being a voice of negativity in a sad and telegraphed attempt at seeking out attention.
