It just amazes me that national writers, even ones that know their stuff, get so moon-eyed over offensive-driven teams with weak pitching staffs.
Yes, great offenses can carry a team through a series. But how many lopsided teams are winning in the era of the super pen?
It's all well and good to beat the shit out of a back end starter the third time through a lineup in the regular season... But how often are you going to get that favorable matchup for your offense in the postseason?
