Yep. Maddon outmanaged himself tonight and rightfully deserves blame for the entire game.
Using Strop and Wood for a combined inning and Rondon for only one batter was incredibly short sighted.
I get going to your closer early (Ned did it three times with Wade last year), but do it to either start the inning or after a single batter in the 8th. Maddon was Terry Collins esque tonight.
It didn't get any better from there, he left Monty on until he was exhausted and had Edwards Jr. warm up for about 3 innings before the walkoff.
