I'll give you the strike three call against Lindor. But the other called strike (I think it was strike one, but I'm not sure) was a bad call because Chapman missed his spot big time and the catcher lunged out to get it. In that case, if the pitch is borderline, it's not called a strike b/c the pitcher missed his spot so badly. But according to Brooks, it was on the black, so you do have an argument there.
Again, I was talking about Guyer for 20 posts because he was the guy who got a backdoor strike three call and that was the call that mattered most in that AB. Lindor was not backdoored, and since we were talking about someone getting backdoored, I assumed that we were talking about Guyer,
because he was the guy who actually got backdoored. Now I know that when referring to someone, you could potentially be referring to anyone else in any situation, regardless of context. I'll adjust.
