Can you and others at least admit that a QB2 that comes in can look real good, but after a while of getting pressured and taking abuse, he will begin to show some horrible breakdown in bravado.. leading to poor fundamentals, turnovers, and general confidence?
Sure. It could be that Foles plays multiple games hot, and stays hot. It's just as likely that he starts to feel the pressure that comes with being QB1. That his gunslinger hot-shit mindset begins to crumble and cost the Chiefs this AFCW race.
When you have a QB1 in place with the win % that Smith has. When you know that he is typically a large part of the equation that's been leading to the KC success it's had since they were 2-14.. it should be easy to see why (assuming he does) Andy stays with his QB.
Does that seem fair and reasonable?
Again, I want it to be Smith as QB1.. but if it isn't, and Foles comes in to dominate the remainder of games.. then fine. Andy's done great things so far for KC, and he's earned my trust so far. I'd guess Smith has earned Andy's trust, and then some, too.
So maybe just sit back and try to enjoy the wins.. regardess of who is out there. All of this repetitive bitching isn't going to help you. So if you are that disgruntled, do like some of these guys do.. put on your false shield of apathy.. stop watching even.. or just go with the flow.
