No one can convince me that Todd Haley actually wanted to start Matt Cassel as long as he did. Hell, his dad attended a 2009 training camp practice and said to him, something along the lines of, "I don't think you can win with this guy."
I don't believe HC's always play who they want to play at the QB position especially.
