I think he took the criticism to heart and he asked his teammates for help and they pushed him to be a better player and he listened to them.

I think he has potential to reach another level yet but I also think he has a ways to go. He also doesn't need let this notoriety get to his head, but I think the kid has humbled himself by listening to his teammates. He deserves all the praise he gets but he also needs to stay hungry.
