You homers never can open your eyes because all of the red that covers them.
We potentially have a Super Bowl type team that won't be because we don't have the QB to do it. It's even more frustrating when a douche like Grbac could put up huge numbers with the offensive talent on this roster. That could make this team even more deadly and not having to rely on freaking defense and special teams scores to make up the difference. And no it's not about "fantasy football" numbers even though their is a strong correlation between the two and winning. You open up the passing game deep, it allows Kelce to be more dominant in the under routes. It allows the running game to be more deadly. It allows the slants to work more efficiently.
This hope bullshit is just bullshit. The Royals and Cubs did it, excuse is crap as well. Those two built dominating rosters that flat out killed it all year. They were the best two teams in baseball from start to finish.
Sunday night was a great game. This team should have had more like that one. Instead we are going to be a wildcard team beat a Tom Savage led Houston team and get beat in New England (unless Brady gets hurt). Rinse and repeat. Welcome to the 90s with New England playing our daddy instead of Buffalo.
Other than Len Dawson and the two years of Montana, the Chiefs have had substandard QB and it shows. Only 3 times in 45 years has this team tried to develop a QB and have tried every other method - building the super defense and the super OLs. Same results, no Super Bowls. Until this franchise truly gets serious about developing a QB, it will never win anything of importance. And we have pissed way too many talent teams because of it.
