The 40 highway location is close to being re-opened, just not quite there yet. The building is about done, anyway. They may open within the next month.
Scho63 and I had lunch at Gates at 12th and Brooklyn yesterday. We got a mixed plate with ribs, pork and turkey, a Beef and a Half sandwich, fries beans and slaw. So we had a real wide variety of stuff to try. Scho63 liked the brisket and beans, didn't like the slaw.
I love it all.
