Our offense line hasn't been polished for the last several seasons. At least we are much better at handling stunts this year. Alex Smith has less than 3 seconds to throw the ball and our run blocks is really weak.
Maybe part of that is because of our offense. When an entire defense can line up within 10 yards of the LoS because they aren't worried about explosive plays it makes it harder to block.

One of my favorite plays Sunday was a third down where a lb blitzed up the middle and ware picked him up. Smith didn't flinch and stood directly behind ware waiting for kelce to get open and we got the first down.
