They can numb him up and it won't be a real factor because he's not a mobile QB to begin with, or playing a position that is going to require continued stress like a back or wideout that is constantly changing direction and making hard cuts.
Ignore the boot chatter and prepare to take care of business because he's one QB that shrugs off defenders due to his size in order to extend plays more than anyone. Reliance on some injury to do the job for you is foolish.
