They gave it up.
Sure, they kept them out of the end zone all night, but they were on the field for long stretches, and when the Chief defense needed to step up; when the season was on the line, they folded like like cheap beach chairs.
This game was a team loss. It wasn't on the refs for calling a legitimate hold, or on blowing some other calls they should have made. KC choked dick. And that includes Andy "I have the best record after the bye in the history of the universe" Reid.
Pittsburgh found a way to win the game; Kansas City didn't.
