Owners are merely one of 32 tentacle arms..that connect to a mother-hub profit center. The ones that appear to care...is simply because it's their hobby and offers a bit of limelight. Hunt wasn't heart-broken over making a quarter of a billion dollars this year.
NFL has eroded into fodder for the plebeians...just like in ancient Rome. It gave the disgruntled an avenue/outlet for their hostility.... redirected from being exploited by their government. It's the modern-day coliseum...a satiation/diversion for the masses.

I'm not applying any morals when considering the possibility of a league wide conspiracy. Of course they painstakingly vet new owners. Why on earth wouldn't they? They're 32 billionaires in a profit sharing group. There's thousands of reasons why they would vet new owners, which don't involve any morality. Legit simple business reasons that are employed in other profit sharing organizations. That makes infinitely more sense than some elaborate conspiracy. Again, you're getting locked onto one of the craziest and most unreasonable explanations to your question, and ignoring any other possible explanation. You are the one convinced you've got the answer, when I'm saying there's many different explanations and the best ones don't involve any type of conspiracy at all. You can't even acknowledge that as a possibility. Until you can overcome that simple obvious flaw in your analysis, you'll remain another confirmation bias nutcase.
You imply that Hunt was in on this NFL fix, and just didn't care and allowed an "Obvious fix" to happen to his team? LOLWUT? So there's a giant conspiracy involving 32 teams, and the majority of the teams just accept getting screwed over and letting the predetermined teams win? And
that sounds like the most likely explanation to you? How can you not see the flaw in your thinking there? Why would you not even consider an alternative explanation that is much more likely? You know... like Occam's Razor says you should. The fact you don't give that any consideration should be a direct indicator that you've got serious confirmation bias.
The NFL doesn't profit off of me. They haven't for some time. I don't trust them at all. I understand they are greedy cut-throat rich dudes who would do almost anything for more money. So the pre-determined box you're attempting to put me in doesn't apply. Yet I also understand what's actually feasible, and acknowledge that the NFL can make a bajillion dollars without any need for any dumb conspiracy that wouldn't be possible anyway. But go ahead and tell us all how none of us actually has it figured out, but you do, and that you're the only one who can see the pattern of this impossibly complex conspiracy which there's no actual evidence for. Tell me again how you're the open minded one....
