The Patriots just signed a guy which allowed them to trade another guy. A change reaction that ended up with them improved in 3 different positions without cost themselves a damn thing. Because making splashes in FA is always a good thing. You know as well as anyone else that most of the time signing other teams FA doesn't pan out as well as the team hoped. It is generally better to retain your own players versus signing players other teams don't want to keep.
Everyone has wanted us to build our own team through the draft. Well this is what that looks like. People can't have it both ways.
