Phhhtt... they survived the SEA SB loss and the Tebow season, oh and the Orton/Cutler years. Much younger then, so they likely would only remember that during intense therapy sessions. They'll be good with whatever happens tonight and this season. I've let them know we are kinda due for a down year or two, but we're hoping for the best.
They've all agreed that life is good and better than being a Cowboys' fan... and that to me says it all. My kids have grown up in Dallas, during an age when a whole generation of Cowboys' fans knows very little about playoff success (
2-8 since 1997 - Chiefs are 1-7 in that time, so my kids view both as the same and the Broncos are 14-8 with a 3-1 SB record, so it's easy for them to buy in) and the SB years are long ago when that TV announcer used to play.
