Best animated show on TV easily. Hilarious, smart, dark, complex, etc...
If you havent watched an episode yet, go do so and you'll most likely be hooked.

Did you read any of Douglas Adams? Notably, the very obvious ' Hitchhikers Guide' series?
"Mostly Harmless" takes on an unbelievably somber, dark shift in tone. Truth be told, it's a goddamn miserable read and I'll never bother re-reading it again. End the series with "So Long and Thanks for all the Fish" and you'll be much happier for it.
The reason? Well, for all intents and purposes, Adams was just in a foul mood. Guy was going through intermittent bouts of depression and was just generally pissed off. So he makes that book bleak as hell and then
Adams himself said he wished he'd have never written it and wanted to take another stab at wrapping up the series. Then of course he died.
Seriously, you wonder what kind of fresh hell Roiland and/or Harmon are going through right now because while this season has been damn funny, it's been
incredibly dark, even by Rick and Morty standards. It's one of those things that you look at and think back on 'Mostly Harmless' - man, you just hope they haven't done anything by the end of this season that they'll regret.
