The type of guy you would want your daughter to marry...million dollar contracts or not. I think his demeanor is mistaken for a lack of competitive will. He's as competitive as the next. He's just not a prick.

If anyone dislikes Alex Smith personally, they are just being an asshole.
I think the majority of Alex Smith critics here on CP are just
bored with his conservative play style. Riding the defense to a 10+ win regular season has been done many times over the past few decades. Older fans want to see a SuperBowl.
Let's hope he brings it this season.
