Sam is wrong about Alex. No one knows if Mahomes is or isn't ready. We know Alex Smith is a house on fire. Mahomes was a star in the pre-season. To think he'd be worse than Alex Smith is emotional thinking. And, the Chiefs need to get Mahomes reps to get him ready for next year.
