They're looking for an Air Raid guy, so that kind of eliminates most guys with Missouri ties (unless Odom decides Joe Jon Finley is ready). I don't know much about Hugh Freeze. I gather that he's had NCAA violations in his past. Can you explain the bolded part a little more for me?

Does Mizzou need to seek SEC permission in this case? Were they interested, but only if the SEC office was excited about it?
