I personally don't believe any extra-terrestrial life has visited the planet, in a space ship or otherwise. I am wide open to any solid evidence that this has occurred.

I am also wide open to the possibility the universe is filled with other life forms on many other planets. Yet I have no reason to believe so.

I reject the "just because" explanation that goes, "Well, gee, the universe is SO BIG, it just makes no sense we are the only ones here, there JUST HAS TO BE life on other planets SOMEWHERE".

Um, nope.

Either we sprang from an interstellar bacterium, or God put us here on purpose.

If God put us here, then it does not follow he had to put anything else anywhere else in the universe, and it is not a stretch to believe that the universe IS the heaven we occupy when we die and receive the gift of afterlife from our Savior.

If we sprang from interstellar bacteria, then it stands to reason that bacteria spread life elsewhere in the universe, but it is not a given. It could be that Earth has the only perfect fertile conditions for that life to grow and evolve, and every other mass in the universe simply is too hostile for life to take hold.

Or it is possible the intergallactic bacteria is on its way to producing more life in the universe at some time in the future, and we happen to be first, in which case no other planet in the universe has life yet.
