Yes, but that comparison doesn't fly, because they were re-casting for a younger Obi-Wan. And Alec Guiness WAS DEAD.
Disney was not going to make 7, 8 and 9 without the original actors. That would have been a massive gamble.
Still, you might have a point. If Ford, Hamill and Fisher WERE DEAD.
It's fine for them to re-cast for an anthology film now because they've already gotten through Episode 7.
