Part of the trick, at least as far as Iíve been taught, is to not draw your bow until the last moment. If you draw while your buck is walking into your shooting lane, he could hear you and pause then youíve got to hold your drawn bow until he continues, if he doesnít bolt.
Holding a drawn bow for more than a few moments is hard on muscles and youíll start shaking, making a clean shot even harder.
Itís best to be patient and not draw until your buck is definatly within range. Then draw, aim and release quickly but smoothly.
Some more experienced bow hunters could probably help with more, or even better, tips and tricks.
