I never went to blockbuster much, but I did go to a mom and pop store that had the same business model, it just had a larger selection.
I got my videos back on time and almost never paid late fees, so that didn't bother me.
I did like that I could go to one store and rent any fairly recent Hollywood film and had a huge selection of classics and other type of films.
I liked it when Netflix had almost any film that had been made.
I'm not looking forward to the day when, in order to be able to see any most film, you will have to have a separate subscription to Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Time Warner, Universal, HBO, etc...
Or go back to the bad old days of pirating films.
