I did try a pair of those insoles made by the hand warmer folks. I don't think they really helped.

What do you guys use to keep your feet warm?
Always dress your core/legs to keep them warm, almost too warm and that wil help tremedously. Wear your shoes all the way up until the time you're ready to walk into the field. If your feet sweat it's all over. then wear your boots like normal as you walk in. When your feet start getting cold you can put on some of these toe warmers (or you can put them on before you walk about but you risk sweating more). If they are still cold put some toe warmers on top of your toes too.

I also wear a thing moisture wicking sock liner underneath my socks to wick away sweat.

Just keep the sweat away man. Carry extra layers into the field and put them on out there after you've cooled off from the walk in. That's always a good idea.
