The NFL is an entertainment enterprise. They don’t promise a clean, honest contest, just an exhibition of football for your entertainment. After 50 years of failure, I’m trying not to take it personally.

I got pretty good about shrugging off the failure. Then came Mahomes the excitement built and I started to believe. Last night was a gut check. Hard to say exactly how the rest of this season will finally shake out, but you can rest assure that failure at some point is involved. I will spend another night or 2 of failing to sleep and being in a foul mood.
We are always a few pieces short of being a complete team. Hard not to get down on the franchise. We are like jilted lovers who just can't quit the one who breaks our hearts!
