I guess you could franchise Ford and make him prove it again. That's probably a better idea but the cost could skyrocket.
I guess I'd tag him if I couldnt get a trade for him and you resign Jones.

If Ford is trade you keep Houston hope Speaks improves. Going to be alot of stud defensive ends at the end of the first you can grab to pair with Jones. Jones/Houston/ rookie and the combo of Speaks/Kpass maybe? Isnt awful. What you lose with Ford you could gain by grabbing a couple of corners in the draft to pair with Fuller sign another Vet CB to a 1 year deal.

Were kinda stuck with Berry, Watts, Lucas and MAYBE Thomas? Who knows what a guy like that will command given his injuries but I dont think its a stretch to say theres probably mutual interest considering that trade almost went down?


Secondary as follows: Rookie CB, Rookie CB, Fuller, Vet maybe? Ward, and Smith. Berry, Thomas?, Watts, Lucas.

That's a pretty damn good secondary no?
