The Chiefs are probably going to get scorched over these events. When you look back at recent history (Belcher, Hill*2, Hunt, Clark), it certainly doesn't paint the best of pictures.
Then, of course, there's the sad reality that no NFL team is immune to or has entirely escaped issues such as these.

It seems a bit unfair to declare the Chiefs as some sort of refuge for ne'er-do-wells, bad actors, and career criminals without mentioning that, from an NFL perspective, these problems are systemic.
