Cassel led to Alex Smith which led to Mahomes. Say he got someone that's pretty good, maybe in Matt Ryans caliber or someone like that and he was still our QB and there was no way we trade up for Mahomes. His failure at QB led to our glory later on. One little thing could have prevented us from drafting the greatest QB we've ever seen in our lifetime and probably will ever see. Everything happened for a reason. Maybe not, but what if?
