I heard Grunhard talking about this a couple of days ago on the way to work. He was saying it needs to come out Monday, and by Wednesday at the latest. His reasoning is that coaches will be back in the office and putting together not only training camp practice plans, but game plans for the first three or four games of the regular season, and it would be a disservice to the team to not know by Wednesday.
That is paraphrasing of course.
