Game's just an Nth faster and I'm not sure he's quite adjusted to it.

He could pause/go at LSU and pick his way forward with that exceptional agility. Now he kinda needs to go first, then see if there's a moment to pause. I just don't think he has that first read and cut in motion thing figured out.

His vision was good in college - it's part of why I thought he was a really nice fit. But everything closes up quicker at this level and I think that first step/burst needs to be based on anticipation or feel. To my eyes that isn't coming naturally to him yet. He looks to be trying to think his way through the run before he kinda vapor-locks and shoots ahead.

It's honestly the last problem I expected him to have but it's a growing concern. Wouldn't take too much to dispense with it, but we've gotta see it first.
