For two years, Denver fans were bragging that Rodgers to Denver was inevitable. Now they pretend they never wanted him. I never heard a thing about desiring a Wilson trade until it happened.
The exact ages don’t matter. What matters is that Wilson has already shown declining athleticism and production, and he’s about to get very expensive, on a roster which won’t have a ton of cheap young players. Rodgers has won back to back MVPs. He may not have many good years left, but for now he’s still at the top of his game.
