He is correct. Life is short. We should watch the sports we enjoy, not the ones that he approves for us. I approve of his advice, just not in the way he intended.

Well said. But so many Americans (I’m an American) give up on it becasue the thought of 0-0. I get that. We are Americans. We understand winners and losers. I totally get not being ok with a tie. That’s completely fair. But there’s wayyyyyy more to it than wins and losses and ties.
There’s points and games in hand and relegation and promotion and so on and so forth. NFL is my favorite sport…nothing else in the world is better, but **** soccer is so compelling given the implications I stated earlier. It’s really a lot of fun.
