Really wish people would stop suggesting anyone is screaming for mecole to be an every down receiver. These guys are very good in a very specific role. And it’s a role that would have been very helpful for us given how cincy was playing us. This isn’t about getting these guys vertical. We had tons of success running our guys laterally and it’s a great way to keep a defense like that off balance.
Our offense played well enough but there was room for improvement. And it’s hard to imagine how these guys wouldn’t have made it better if used correctly
