Yes, I think we all acknowledge that the second half of the schedule was much harder. Many schools would have struggled to win more than a game or two in that stretch, healthy or not.
But that makes your "6 of 7" point irrelevant. It's not that they were playing far better in the beginning or far worse down the stretch, it's that they lost to talented opponents. Which neuters your entire argument about trending in the wrong direction, see.
